Our First Home

We signed all the paperwork March 15 for our new home! Pictures will come soon, but I have been sick and don't want to take a picture of us in front yet. We had the house cleaned, the carpets cleaned and we painted for 3 days downstairs to get it ready to move in. Painting was a lot more work than I think Weston or I were expecting. His mom and Rachel came over to help us and we finished ourselves Friday night. I packed up our room at Mom and Pop's after work Friday, March 23, and Weston helped me unload when I got to the house. Saturday morning, March 24, we had Matthew and boys, Brad, Devan, Bruce, Jofus, Jeff and Zach load up two trucks of stuff that was in our storage unit. Weston's mom used her van to help me load the small stuff and the mattresses. When I closed out with the managers they said that we had more people to help us with our 5x10 unit than they see people have for a 20x20 unit. We are very grateful for all the help we received from everyone. Our bedroom set was delivered Saturday morning and our couch should be here in a couple of weeks. I don't think it has really sunk in still that this is our HOME. I feel a little far from Mom and Pop even though we are only 15 minutes away! I guess I really miss living there. We still have a lot of projects around the house and organizing, but I finally feel like this is ours. It is so wonderful to feel so blessed and we recognize Heavenly Father's hand in all of our blessings. Weston has been amazing with all my outbursts, emotions and OCD tendencies around the house. I am grateful to have him for eternity and to just feel so happy!
